Wir cyceln alle Arten von PET up – Bislang war das nicht möglich. Unsere Technologie ist also wirklich eine bahnbrechende Innovation. Wie das funktioniert? Kurz gesagt: Wir verwenden eine Methode, die Depolymerisation genannt wird.

Das Plastik, das bekanntlich aus Polymeren besteht, wird in eine Lösung wie Wasser oder Glykol getaucht. Die Molekülstruktur der Polymere, die aus identischen Einheiten (den Monomeren) bestehen, beginnt dann, sich langsam aufzulösen. Aus dem Rohmaterial, das wir so gewinnen, produzieren wir neue, transparente PET-Flaschen, die lebensmittelecht sind.
